Hayley & the BIG FISH

This was the fish that Hayley caught second. As you can see it is HUGE and ferocious. We barely could land it in the boat. Grandpa had to get the BIG net out for this baby.
Hayley was so scared. (Actually, a speed boat just zipped by and hit us with his big-waves... and she fell asleep about 45 seconds after we released the whale).

Well, my dream for 2 1/2 years is for Hayley go to Fishing with Grandpa (and me & dad).

So, we did.
At first, the speed and the waves hitting the boat scared her.


This was actually Hayley's first fish! (we helped, a little, but she "turned the wheel").

Mother's Day 2007

I hosted my first dinner party at the condo!
My cousin Jenny, our Grandma, and my girls. Almost four generations. (Where was Auntie Lois to make it an even four?) At dinner on Mother's day, we realized that Tim was the only one that was not directly linked by DNA to everyone else at the table! Grandma, her 2 sons, their only daughters & my girls! And Tim.

We had a great time. Everyone even sampled my "Chocolate Coyote" ice-cream. If you don't know, that is chocolate ice cream with cinnamon and... CAYENNE PEPPER! It is the greatest, spiciest, chocolatey goodness. If you can handle it.

So, my friend Sara Jo & Her hubby are expecting #3... they just found out He's a HE! :)

Today Hayley announced that she is DONE with naps. (It lasted until 4:15 when she fell asleep in her high-chair eating a PB&J).

Growing Pains

Hannah is having a bad weekend. :( Poor baby has a bad rash on her bottom, a new tooth breaking through and a fever! PLUS she decided she wants to learn how to be mobile, so she is trying to crawl. Hayley is 'helping' her learn. "HANNAH! ON YOUR TUMMY!"
